Sonora.ID - Mariah Carey telah mengumumkan ulang tahun ke 25 atas album Natal pertamanya yang dirilis tahun 1994 “Merry Christmas”.

Single dari album tersebut yang bejudul ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ pun tahun lalu sempat menempati posisi #3 di Billboard Hot 100.

Seperti yang dikutip dalam laman Billboard.com Carey mengumumkan kan hal tersebut didalam akun twitternya pada hari Senin, 23 September 2019, melalui unggahan sebuah video menuliskan pesan pada kaca degan menggunakan lipstick merahnya.

“Aku tidak ingin terlalu bersemangat, tetap tenang, Natal akan datang, tapi kita harus lewati dulu Halloween dan Thaksgiving terlebih dahulu” Katanya sebelum tertawa.

Pada album “Merry Christmas” ini juga nantinya Carey akan merilis dua buah versi keping Cd, yang salah satunya merupakan versi deluxe nya.
