Denzel Washington memperpanjang rekor yang sudah dipegangnya sebagai aktor kulit hitam yang paling banyak dinominasikan, ia mendapatkan nominasi Oscar kesepuluh untuk penampilannya dalam The Tragedy of Macbeth.
