ketika dewa Naga menangis meratapi nasib buruknya , tiga air mata jatuh ke tanah . Tidak lama setelah itu , air mata itu berubah menjadi tiga telur yang bersinar indah yang tampak seperti permata. Lalu Batara Narada menyarankan dia untuk menawarkan telur-telur itu kepada Batara Guru.

Dengan tiga telur dalam mulutnya, dewa Naga pergi ke istana Batara Guru . Dalam perjalanan, seekor elang bertanya kepadanya. Tentunya Naga Dewa tidak bisa menjawab pertanyaan itu karena dia membawa telur dalam mulutnya . Melihat hal itu, burung itu berpikir bahwa Naga dewa adalah dewa yang sombong. Burung itu lalu menyerangnya .

Karena diserang oleh elang itu, satu telur terjatuh ke bumi . Kemudian Naga dewa bersembunyi di semak-semak tapi burung tetap menunggunya. Burung itu menyerang untuk kedua kalinya dan satu telur lagi terjatuh. Sehingga dewa Naga hanya memiliki satu telur dalam mulutnya . Dia terus bergerak menuju istana Batara Guru .

Akhirnya dewa Naga tiba di istana . Dia menawarkan telur itu ke Batara Guru. Dan ajaibnya telur itu menetas dan menjadi bayi perempuan yang sangat cantik. Dewa Naga memberikan bayi perempuan itu kepada Batara Guru. Bayi itu tumbuh menjadi gadis yang cantik dan kemudian dikenal sebagai Dewi Sri.

Why Does the Sea Become Salty

In ancient times there lived two brothers named Xia Ming and Yao Ming. They lived on the edge of a beach. One day, their rich father died. Xia Ming which was the oldest brother brought all the wealth of his father and left his brother.

Then Yao Ming became very poor. He had to work very hard to make a living. One day, an old man who starved came to his home. He asked for some food to Yao Ming. Although he lived in poverty, he was very generous. He gave the old man all his food. “Thank you Son! You’re very good to me! “The old man said. Then he told Yao Ming to go to the top of the mountain. “Go to the top of the mountain! There you will find a cave filled with fairies. Go and ask a magic stone to them!” He said.

In the next day, Yao Ming went up to mountain and brought all his foods. When arriving at the top of the mountain, he found a cave that was intended by the old man. Then, Yao Ming entered the cave and found a lot of fairies in it. The fairies were starving; they were attracted to the food which was brought by him. He felt sorry for them and gave all the food to them. The fairies were happy, “Ask something to us!” they said. “Give me a magic stone!” He pleaded. Then the fairies gave him a magic stone. After that he returned to his house.

At first, Yao Ming did not know what the function of the stone is. When he got home, he was hungry while all his food had run out. “I want to eat something!” He said to himself. Suddenly a delicious meal appeared on his the table. Since that day, Yao Ming became affluent people. His brother heard the wonders of magic rock which was owned by his brother. He stole the stone when her brother was asleep. Afterward, he went to sail in the ocean.

Xia Ming which was greedy, asked for salt to be sold.  Then salt appeared in the boat but he felt it was not enough to be sold. He asked for more salt so that he could earn more money. The magic stone continued to excrete salt until the ship was filled with salt. However, the stones kept excreting salt without stopping till the ship along with Xia Ming sunk to the sea floor. Until now the stone continues to excrete salt and make all the oceans became salty.

Pada zaman dahulu hiduplah 2 orang saudara yang bernama Xia Ming dan Yao Ming. Mereka tinggal di tepi sebuah pantai. Pada suatu hari ayah mereka yang kaya meninggal dunia. Xia ming yang merupakan kakak tertua membawa semua harta kekayaan sang ayah dan pergi meninggalkan suadaranya sendiri.

Yao Ming menjadi sangat miskin. dia harus bekerja dengan sangat keras untuk menghidupi dirinya sendiri. Pada suatu hari datanglah seorang pria tua yang kelaparan ke rumahnya. dia meminta beberapa makanan kepada Yao Ming. meskipun dia hidup miskin, dia sangatlah baik. dia memeberi pria tua itu semua makananya. “Terimakasih Nak! kau sangat baik sekali kepadaku!” kata pria tua itu. kemudian dia menyuruh Yia Ming untuk pergi ke puncak gunung. “Pergilah ke atas puncak gunung itu! di sana kau akan menemukan sebuah gua yang dipenuhi oleh peri. masuklah dan mintalah sebuah batu ajaib kepada mereka!” Perintah kakek itu.

Keesokan harinya Yao Ming menaiki gunung itu dengan membawa bekal makanan yang banyak. Ketika tiba di puncak gunung, dia menemukan sebuah gua yang dimaksudkan oleh kakek itu. kemudian Yao Ming memasuki gua itu dan menemukan banyak peri di dalamnya. Peri-peri itu kelaparan, mereka tertarik terhadap makanan yang dibawa olehnya. Dia merasa kasihan kepada mereka dan memberi semua makanan kepada mereka. peri-peri itu merasa senang, “Mintalah sesuatu kepada kami!” kata mereka. “Berikan aku sebuah batu ajaib!” pinta dia. Kemudian peri-peri itu memberikan batu ajaib kepadanya. Setelah itu dia kembali kerumahnya.

Pada awalnya Yao Ming tidak mengetahui apa fungsi batu itu. ketika dia sampai dirumah, dia merasa lapar sedangkan semua makanannya telah habis. “Aku ingin memakan sesuatu!” katanua kepada dirinya sendiri. Tiba-tiba makanan yang lezat tersaji di atas meja dia. semenjak hari itu Yao Ming menjadi orang yang berkecukupan. kakaknya yang mendengar keajaiban batu yang dimiliki oleh adiknya mencuri batu itu ketika adiknya sedang tertidur. kemudian dia pergi dengan berlayar di lautan.

Xia Ming yang serakah itu meminta garam agar bisa dijual. kemudian garam pun muncul dihadapannya. merasa tidak puas, dia meminta lebih banyak garam agar dia bisa mendapat uang lebih banyak. Batu ajaib it terus mengeluarkan garam sampai kapal itu dipenuhi oleh garam. Namun, Batu itu terus mengeluarkan garam tanpa henti sampai menenggelamkan kapal bersama Xia Ming ke dasar laut. Hingga sekarang batu itu terus mengeluarkan garam dan membuat semua lautan menjadi asin.

Pinokio

In the past, there was a puppeteer whose name is Geppetto. He eager to have a son very much but his wife passed away several years ago. One day, he got an idea to make a puppet in order not to be lonely again. He made a puppet all day long. Finally, in the morning he had finished his work and he named the puppet Pinocchio. Soon he felt lonely again since Pinocchio couldn’t walk or talk by itself. One night, Geppetto prayed to the God to become a real boy. He always thought it on his mind in his dream.

In the next morning, he was surprised that Pinocchio was alive. He taught Pinocchio how to walk, how to read, how to speak and to do other things as human. He then studied at an elementary school. One day, Pinocchio felt bored and it made him go home late. When Pinocchio finally came home, Geppetto asked him. He said that he was on school but he wasn’t. Instantly, Pinocchio’s nose grew longer and longer and it meant that Pinocchio has lied.

The next morning, Pinocchio was kidnaped by the owner of circus. Pinocchio soon became a slave for the circus. He was so famous because he was a puppet which can talk. Geppetto worried about him because Pinocchio had not been going home for almost two days. He tried to find Pinocchio everywhere but he found nothing. When he searched him on the sea, big wave smashed him. He was then in whale’s stomach when he awoke. He couldn’t find the way to go out.

In the other side, Pinocchio finally could escape out from the circus. He came home but nobody was there. Latter on, he searched Geppetto in the sea. He got the same accident like Geppetto and he met Geppetto in whale’s stomach. Both of them got out from its stomach by making a fire. In the end of the story, they went home together and lived happily ever after.

Suatu malam, Geppetto berdoa kepada Tuhan untuk menjadikannya seorang anak yang nyata. Dia selalu memikirkan itu dalam pikirannya.

Pada keesokan harinya, ia terkejut karena Pinocchio hidup. Dia mengajari Pinocchio cara berjalan, cara membaca, cara berbicara dan melakukan hal-hal lain selayaknya manusia. Dia kemudian belajar di sebuah sekolah dasar. Suatu hari, Pinocchio merasa bosan dan itu membuatnya pulang terlambat. Ketika Pinocchio akhirnya pulang, Geppetto bertanya. Dia mengatakan bahwa ia berada di sekolah tapi sebenarnya dia tidak di sekolah. Seketika, hidung Pinokio tumbuh lebih panjang lagi dan lagi dan itu berarti bahwa Pinocchio telah berbohong.

Keesokan paginya, Pinocchio diculik oleh seorang pemilik sirkus. Pinocchio kemudian menjadi budak untuk sirkus tersebut. Dia begitu terkenal karena ia adalah boneka yang bisa bicara. Geppetto khawatir tentang dia karena Pinocchio belum pulang selama hampir dua hari. Dia mencoba untuk menemukan Pinocchio mana-mana tapi ia tidak menemukannya. Ketika ia mencari dia di laut, gelombang besar menghempaskan dirinya. Dia kemudian berada di perut ikan paus ketika ia terbangun. Dia tidak bisa menemukan cara untuk pergi keluar dari sana.

Di sisi lain, Pinocchio akhirnya bisa melarikan diri keluar dari sirkus itu. Dia pulang tapi tidak ada siapa-siapa di rumahnya. Akhirnya, ia mencari Geppetto di laut. Dia mendapat kecelakaan yang sama seperti yang dialami Geppetto dan ia bertemu Geppetto dalam perut ikan paus. Keduanya keluar dari perut tersebut dengan membuat api. Di akhir cerita, mereka pulang bersama-sama dan hidup bahagia selamanya.
