Whom I respect, Mr. principal.
Whom I respect, teachers and administrative staff.
Den friends that I am proud of.
First of all, let us offer our puja and our gratitude to Allah SWT because thanks to the abundance of His grace and favor, we can still gather at the Prophet’s birthday.
Sholawat and greetings may always be poured out on our lord, Rasulullah SAW.
Ladies and gentlemen, on this occasion, I will deliver a speech in commemoration of the Prophet’s Birthday.
Rasulullah is the most perfect human being on this earth. Allah assigned him to improve human morality. How do we know that at that time, in the Jahiliyah era, human behavior was really uncivilized.
إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ لأُتَمِّمَ مَكَارِمَ الأَخْلاقِ
Meaning: “Indeed I was sent only to perfect moral righteousness.” (HR. Al-Baihaqi).
The good character of the Prophet until now has become the most perfect example for us followers. He always spoke softly and never hated even though his enemies tried to bring him down many times.
One of the stories of his struggle is when he and Zaid visited the city of Taif to preach. It wasn’t a smiley welcome he received, but a hateful cursing and stone-throwing.
The Prophet was injured and bleeding. Until the mountain guardian angel offered to destroy the people. However, he actually prayed for the good for these people so that one day they could become the best people in the eyes of Allah.
From this story, it is evident how noble and beautiful the heart of the Apostle was. Without holding grudges and hatred, he actually prayed for those who had wronged him with a very good prayer.
From there we learn not to repay evil for evil. A few speeches from me, hopefully it can be a lesson for all of us to always be patient and forgiving.
Finally, wassalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.
